We offer 1:1 support in person Mon-Thursday, online on Fridays for any young person up to 25 who needs it: personal, relationships, school, employment etc.

Careers – The Post 16 Engagement Team
We have access to funding specifically for people 16+ looking for routes into college, training or employment. Pathways is an innovative scheme, supported by many local college and work contacts, with ongoing mentoring by Brad. The sessions help people to gain confidence, decide what they want to aim for, develop skills such as CV writing and interview technique, and ultimately find a place to study or work. Funded by the European Union Social Fund, all sessions are free to applicants. To find out more, contact Brad.

Youth leaders and volunteers offer practical help, coordination and ongoing motivation. This is supported by an independent careers advisor who has access to the latest job, courses and apprenticeship information to help individuals increase career choices, find their niche, secure placements and access training. Our youth leaders are also trained to produce professional CVs and arrange interview preparation and practice.
Although there is great uncertainty about courses, apprenticeships and employment, we can help in very positive ways -whatever an individual’s starting point. In 2020, the first group of NEETS completed this scheme. All 7 were coached to create good CVs, gained confidence and focus, developed interview techniques, and were successful in securing work or college courses. We have funding for more places on this scheme. This may be combined with a new 6-month Traineeship Scheme with Worcester County Council, including funded travel from Pershore.
