Community Builder – Younger Adults: 16 hours a week, 18 month contract.
This is an exciting new role which is designed to support the younger adults of Pershore in developing opportunities for community activities and events, and to complement our existing services.
The Community Builder will focus on making connections within the community and facilitating local community groups to develop their own activities and events. This role focuses specifically on engaging younger adults (16 – 30 yrs) and is expected to work closely with existing staff and other community builders in the local area.
We are ideally seeking applicants with experience of community development work, and good knowledge of digital media. It may well suit someone with lived experience from the target group, or experience of working with this age group.

We are seeking volunteers who can support young people through life-skill sessions, companies that can broaden career aspirations through visits or placements and youth workers with relevant qualifications or experience for regular youth clubs. Volunteer Digital Media Specialist – To support our social media campaigns, and design of promotional material.
Volunteer HR Adviser – To help us to ensure that we keep up-to-date with legislation and practice, and to provide support with work plans and appraisals.
Volunteer Grant Assistant – We have been successful with securing grant funding but it is now more challenging. If you could spare a few hours a week to help with the administration of gathering grants, we would love to hear from you.
Volunteer Gardener – Just a few hours a month to help keep the grounds nice, at a time that suits you.
