The staff at Pershore Riverside Centre prides itself on running an exemplary service – safe, professional, friendly, forward looking, accessible and affordable for all. In order to do this, all staff, youth workers and visiting healthcare professionals are DBS checked and work within safeguarding protocols, industry-standard policies & procedures, National Youth Agency guidance and good practice, and Covid-19 regulations
Youth Manager Brad – Bradley brings a wealth of Youth work experience, knowledge and is a JNC Level 6 qualified Youth and community worker. He joined us in September 2015 during his Youth and community degree and has stuck with us ever since! Brad heads a dedicated team of 7 sessional youth workers, including SEND specialists; a professional Counsellor, plus volunteers and student placements when available.
Centre Coordinator Olena – Olena handles the day-to-day administration for the charity. Including Lettings, finance and building management!
Community Builder Leigh-Anne – Leigh-Anne works with local community groups and individuals to help them become more active in their local communities, and provides a particular focus on connecting younger adults (16-30) with their local neighbourhood and wider community.
Volunteers are also an invaluable part of Pershore Riverside Centre. We are very grateful to Martha (Counsellor), Graham (Web Manager) and Bob (Cleaner) for their contributions.
Pershore Riverside Centre is governed by 10 experienced and committed Trustees, with bi-monthly full meetings and regular sub-groups. The Trustees represent a cross-section of the local community, and volunteer their business skills and other relevant experience to help to achieve the charity’s objectives. Pershore Riverside Centre is dependent on fundraising events, grant applications, donations and small council grants to support the young people. The current board of trustees is:
